Jarie Bolander is an engineer by training and an entrepreneur by nature. He has over 20 years of experience bringing innovative products to market. Some of them include Bluetooth, USB, RFID, Semiconductor DNA sequencing, and SaaS for Healthcare. Over the past three years, he has been a reluctant PR Maven at JSY PR & Marketing — a full service PR & Marketing firm that specializes in professional athletes, startups, and nonprofits. Through his work with JSY PR & Marketing, he has realized that well told stories can change the world. After the death of his wife Jane in 2017, he has dedicated himself to helping nonprofits tell better stories via JSY Giving, a nonprofit formed in Jane’s memory.

Jarie has formed or been part of six startups in various management roles. He holds an MBA in Technology Management and a BS in Electrical Engineering. Steven Gomes is thought-provoking, innovative, and spontaneous. He dares to speak on controversial topics with witty ideas and perspectives. He was raised in Brooklyn, New York, and attended Lasalle Academy High School in New York, New York. It is there where his introduction for writing began. His high school math teacher entered him into a poetry-writing contest. He didn’t win, but he placed pretty well. His English teacher introduced him to Shakespeare and Cyrano de Bergerac. He then introduced himself to his high school sweetheart, who fueled his passion for love, and the rest is history.
